I've had potato salad for dinner every night this week. Tonight I cooked it in a skillet, which was pretty good. Tomorrow I finish it off!

I just read 400 posts as procrastination for sleeping. I'm tired enough that I only processed a tiny bit of it, but oh well.
My plan to keep up on this thread is only kind of working. But it's good to read words from people like you. Keep it up.
Yes, the PTB don't think 9/80 schedule and peak season are mixy things. Probably sensible, we are support so part of the job is being available when sales or customers need us.
Do you have a heel cushion for the tendinitis, aurelia? I was dubious when Kaiser gave me one, but it does seem to help.
I had s sandwich for dinner. Turkey and avocado on ciabatta.
I guess I am officially on vacation. Mowing the lawn is not going to happen. Need to tend to the cats, do some laundry, and pack. Probably in that order.

Is this already-made potato salad? Is it a mustard-based potato salad or what? I don't know how my preferred potato salad would react to being in a salad.

I highly recommend heel cushions for ankle problems. It was getting so I could barely walk before I put heel supports in all my shoes.
Some sort of hobo marking saying "Great place for pre-hibernation hangout!"
I mean, that *does* apply to our house, but not just for spiders. (If you judge by how lazy we human dwellers are.)
Just made a big batch of oatmeal cookies while watching Ugly Delicious. Nom.

I don't. I am wearing a neoprene ankle support and that little bit of compression seems to help until I try to walk with my normal stride. It mostly seems to do with how much I'm flexing/pushing off with that foot. Which is also the foot that I damaged half a lifetime ago such that the first two toes don't flex which makes pushing off different anyway. I probably need to see a PT. Ugh.
What they have me is like a wedge, and it's not instantly comfortable, but after about a week of having it in my shoe I can walk pretty much normally. PT is a good idea with the toes and all.

Gris speaks for me in this. (Hi, Gris!)
Thanks for being here, friends.
Hi Karl.
I am feeling the decision to stay up late clicking random things on the internet. Uggh, poor decisions.
