Our wings are not tired.

Oh yeah, work. I guess I should do that. My attention is more scattered than usual today.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Somehow even in my windowless office, I can tell that it's dark and rainy outside, and I just want to get cozy and take a nap.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

For some unknown reason boss' boss is here today, puttering around. DO NOT WANT. Why don't people run these things by me?

Having the radio on the music station today was the right call. Good stuff so far.

And then in the middle of making this post my boss called and he is also coming in. Poop.

He also acknowledged the day and asked me how I was doing so now I am crying. Jesusita.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I always return to B.org on 9/11 to read the posts from that day because I spent most all of my days with all of you when it happened. So hi! Love and miss you all. Sending out the love and ~ma.

It's funny how memory is—I think I was emailing friends on the day, but texting has become such a thing since then that I'm like "surely we were texting??" But the friend whose house we all gathered in and stayed at for the whole afternoon and evening just emailed those of us who were there, which was touching.

So weird that it was so long ago now?

Also, despite my own memory twisting I get annoyed at people who are clearly mos-remembering. Like the girl who was all "yes, I was in college and my class watched a lot of it happen" and I'm like "...you were in Montana, you had a 7am class???"

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm kind of glad it's cold and rainy today, because it's not "9/11 weather", you know?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Much love to you all. I wasn't here until a few months after 9/11, but I know how much that day is part of the community's deepest memories, and it's one of the places I always turn to.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think I was here a couple years after 9/11 because Deena's eldest was born on 9/11 and she was pregnant with her second when I started posting regularly.

I'm so sorry Sophia.
