Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Look up under the box spring inside the fabric dust cover, Sophia. And the couch or large chair, as well. Favorite hidey holed for hermit cats. I hope you find her.

I'm glad your son and DIL could help allay your worst fears, Laura, and best of luck to your SiL.

I want to make a "we always knew you were hot" joke, msbelle, but I know it's no laughing matter. I hope it eases up soon.

I have no advice on Shelob. My catch-and-release spider guy isn't handy, so I guess I would...close the door and duct tape the seams on the outside until he gets back?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Still no kitty. :(. I have put out food and I will see if anything has been consumed in the morning.

Good luck sophia. I really hope t goes better than tonight did—the friend I'm staying with noticed her cat hadn't come around though we'd been home a few hours and I found the cat dead under the bead. Just awful. So horrified.

I am pretty sure she is dead. But I really wish I could find her!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm so sorry Sophia. Could she have possibly gotten out?

Herding cats for fun

Poor kitty. Show thyself!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, kitty's do like to go off to die and 20 is a good long time. Maybe if your neighbor has a small dog that could sniff around the house?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I am sorry Sophia (and meara). I hope you will find the cat soon.

Librarian Warlord

I am sorry, Sophia. I hope the kitty comes out.

I am at my parents, and the dog got me up at 4:45 to go out and then my daughter woke up at 5:15 and claimed she couldn't go back to sleep. Those two are on On The List today, although I will do my best not to show it.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh, Sophia I do hope you find her. Beverly's ideas were good ones. I've had a couple elderly ones that took off when it was time. They really prefer not to be found. I'm sorry.

On the list indeed, Sparky1. My dog made me get up and feed her and let her out, then after I got to work went back upstairs and is now in my bed!

Laura, and best of luck to your SiL

I sent her a steamy picture of Jason Momoa yesterday captioned "For Your Health" and she wrote back instantly, OMG I'm Cured!! plus a bunch of hearts. She said she got out of bed and walked to prove she could get to the bathroom and made them take out her catheter so it sounds to me like she is doing pretty good. Of course they take blood constantly and she is still infected, but the drugs are doing their thing. She's vegetarian so the liquid diet is even more boring than usual.
