The Saga of My Root Canal Re-do has ended well! After the first appointment for the re-do, I still had some pain and tenderness, and the endodontist said that can happen in a percentage of patients, and he put more medicine in the tooth to see if that would get stuff to calm down. Today was my follow-up appointment, and while the pain is gone and I can chew on that side, it seemed to me that there was still tenderness and swelling in the gum area. The endodontist took a look and said it all looks really good, and the gum tenderness is normal as it heals.
I was so sure I'd be getting that tooth pulled, because that's the only option on a failed root canal. I am SO RELIEVED.
Those are some great names!
I do not want to do work. I'm in teleconferences for hours today and I hate it.
Also my best friend here is moving away (about 3-4 hours away) and I hate it. :(
Hooray for a successful root canal.
What a mess, Theo! I hope it gets taken care of.
Yay for Jesse's financial guy. Wine, women and song is the new jookers and blow, right?
Yay, Tep.
I'm sorry, meara. That sucks.
I'm supposedly working from home but I think I will have to just cash in some sick time because some of the stuff that needs doing I can't seem to do. Between trying to work on my tiny netbook with a cracked screen, Citrix being unreliable, and my headache everything is very hard.

I just got out of a 4-hour deep dive meeting which I got roped into moderating at the last minute (my boss called in sick and grandboss asked if I could step in), and I am TIRED and want to NAP.
Health ~ma for your dad, Sue! And supporting ~ma to you.
And congratulations to the Teacups! Man, I suck at meara'ing.
Four-hour meetings should not be allowed, and best friends should have to stay put.

Oh, if I'm not mistaken it's Hebrew for William. Means deer in modern Hebrew.
You have EARNED a nap, Jessica.
Maybe I can fall asleep on the train. Because as soon as I get home it's off to plead my case for a bigger driveway to the zoning appeals board, yay!
If you're not going to be venturing much past the center of the city, no need for a rental car (and honestly, driving in Philly scares me in a way driving in NYC never did).
Agree on the public transport situation. I mean, it's not the best city for it, but it'll get you around the centre of town (I can spell it centre because THAT'S HOW THEY DO IN PHILLY

I would also agree on the driving, probably, if I'd ever gone driving in NYC. I can say that I'd made up my mind driving there would be ok while being shown some apartments by my estate agent. (I figured if he could reach the age he was while driving like he did, then I should do fine.)
