I often get sick travelling for the holidays, but I also had that horrid voice stealing cold out of nowhere a couple months ago. That was unusual.
Deploying real sudafed this time to hopefully steer clear of that again.

Whoa. I just went to reconcile my checkbook on paper vs online, and there's an deposit from work I wasn't expecting. At first I freaked because it was the most recent and I thought I'd got a pay cut or something, but no, there's the regular deposit I expected, above.
I check my work email, see a message from my boss asking I give her a call if I see this before TG "it's good news!"
Check employee service site, and uh, it looks like I got a $2500 bonus before taxes? I guess that's the good news? ETA: yep, its listed as a bonus. Holy shit.
I guess I'll have to drug myself to the gills and go into work next week, cause we also have an all hands mtg and I'm guessing that's related?

Yeah, I'm switching over to Mucinex now and keeping the acetaminophen as a backup.
I think my dad voted for Trump. After calmly trying to explain things, I eventually stormed away from the dining room table. Now I'm hiding in a bedroom and donating money to the NAACP.
I ordered a bunch of Penzeys hot chocolate gift boxes for family for Christmas. Maybe dad will get a lump of coal.
