And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nap and Nachos, maybe.

OMG, I am totally proposing this.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

NAP AND NACHOS IS BRILLIANT.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I feel so validated.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'd take the nap, no nachos. (Although I would not turn down nachos.)

Seriously, I am BEAT, and I don't know why. And I'm trying to decide if I have the energy to see Reverend Horton Heat on Fountain Square tonight. I love me some Rev. Horton Heat, but I am exhausted and hate crowds. But there will be food trucks, and I love me some food trucks.

It's a quandary.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

As with a Minnesota winter or an oral surgery, Insatiable's duration is almost more punishing than the experience itself.

Brilliant.

Is the article detailing a nefarious plan?

Only if you consider surgically resecting neuroendocrine tumors to be nefarious. (I guess the tumors would consider it nefarious.)

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Gud, I'm not married but I can't help thinking that marriage should give you someone who's on your side. I was reminded of this story. (For those who don't want to read the whole thing, a couple was married for one month. It was a rough month. The husband wanted to get his wife a gift to mark the anniversary and asked what she'd like. She said a Fenty highlighter (for those who don't know, it's makeup) and a brush. He came back with a packet of Sharpies - because he couldn't find the brand she'd asked for and Sharpies are the best - and a hairbrush.)
