My sitter painted ltc's toenails without asking me, and I'm trying very hard not to overreact because I love my sitter. But ltc has never had her nails done before, and I was going to treat her to her first pedicure on vacation.

Oh I am sorry, sj. When I was babysitting I probably would have done the same thing. I'm sure she feels terrible for spoiling it for you, but I am sure ltc will still love going for her first spa day with Mommy.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.
Funnily enough, we have strawberries to use up, so I went looking through strawberry recipes to see what I was willing to bake with the ingredients actually in the house. Add one overripe banana, and strawberry-banana muffins are in the oven.
The fruit makes them healthy, right?

Crap. My wife started a new part-time job and today was her first day of training. She send me a text message with some reminders of things to do (take out the garbage which I had already done and wake up my son which I didn't know I had to do since he doesn't have work or school today). I just texted back that I would take care of it. Now she's angry that I didn't wish her luck on her first day. I always fuck things up. I'll get there isn't another husband who would forget that. What is wrong with me?
