Happy Birthday, Scrappy!
Happy birthday scrappy!!
Someone posted a link to that strawberry jello wit whipped cream and pretzels thing, which I know I've had as a kid (hello Midwest) and now I'm like "ooh, salty pretzels ARE good..."
Happy Birthday Scrappy!
Happy happy Scrappy Day! What a joyous occasion.
HBD, Scrappy!
My afternoon snack is being thwarted at every turn. The vending machine is nearly empty, but OK, I could pick something left. But then it wouldn't take my money! OK, so I'll have coffee, how I usually trick myself into thinking I've had a snack. But we're out of the k-cup I like best! So, no snack, and even more mediocre than usual coffee. Feh.
Happy Birthday Scrappy!
And Happy Belated Birthday, Fred!
The job TCG interviewed for asked for references. Keep the ~ma coming.
I pulled my car out of its spot this morning and heard an odd fwapping/thumping sound. None of the lights on the dash were on, but it was definitely tied to the tires. As my car shop is three blocks away from my house, I drove over there to see what was up.
Bad news: I'd picked up a bolt in my left front tire. Good news: I'd gotten a full set of new tires so recently, I probably wouldn't need to replace them all--you have to do that on 4WD vehicles. Bad news: The tire couldn't be repaired. Bad news: The replacement they had in stock turned out to be damage so they've having one delivered.
They put the donut spare on and said twice to be careful driving on it. I asked if they thought it was a good idea to drive 20 miles to work. They frowned. "You do what you've got to do. Keep it under 50." Since I've never heard the phrase "Do what you've got to do" directed at me in a serious context, I decided to take the day off.
Sounds like a good option, Connie. Too dang hot to have a tire issue on the way to work.
Job~ma for TCG!
