Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Congratulations, dcp! I mean, commiserations on your car, but we're glad you're still here and unscathed.

Happy Anniversary, Sheryl!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Thank you, all.

dcp, very good to hear that you are still alive.

Happy anniversary, Sheryl.

Happy Birthday, Shir! Happy Anniversary, Shery! I'm glad you weren't hurt, dcp. Health~ma to Gud and Sue's family!

Re:probiotics to help with intense antibiotics. I recommend Florstar. That, plus some deeply unpleasant drugs, helped me recover from a post-antibiotic bout of C. difficile. The next time I'm on antibiotics I'm going to start taking Florstar proactively, because C. dif. is no joke.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The person who's supposed to run this morning's meeting is having sound issues, so we're all sitting here, discussing how her mic isn't working.

Now she's called in, but she's having problems sharing her screen, so we're all discussing what she needs to click.

I really like this particular coworker, but oh my gawd.

I like Florastor, too, even though it's a bit pricey. Worth it, IMO.

Our wings are not tired.

I'll have to remember the Florastor if they ever force me to take antibiotics again. Ick, hates them.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Sorry I didn't get back to here sooner. The operation didn't happen. On account of the scrupulous surgeon doing a superduper ultrasound from a catheter inside the heart, which revealed a whole lot more calcification than planned.

Which meant that an even more major valve replacement is called for, with another surgeon, hospital, et cetera.

At least Rosemary got to come home the same day.

Oh dear, good the surgeon was careful, but sorry to hear she has a more complex procedure in her (hopefully near) future. I have to say they have really gotten very good at the heart parts replacement procedures.

Random Otter Lake report: My well here in the mountains is 94 feet deep and delivers very chilly deep stream delicious water directly to my glass from the tap. This is a real contrast to the lukewarm city stuff I get in Florida where I have 2 water coolers to get boring filtered stuff. Although I delight in the yummy water, it also delivers a crisper taste to brewed tea which is lovely.
