Timelies all!
My lab doesn't do team-building exercises, per se. Various of the post-bacs socialize in their off-time, but it's not a lab-wide thing.(Hmm, that's more hyphenated words than I usually use.)

Gud, no! Hospital bad! Generally.
I hope you and yours are OK, Gud. Or, if not, moving toward OK at least.
~ma, Gud for whatever is going on.
My dad just got out of the hospital today, after a week in from a gall bladder attack. They're trying to avoid surgery because of his age and health, so they inserted a drain from his gall bladder and he's on antibiotics which aren't doing great things to his gut. (That also may be the gall bladder.) Fingers crossed that he won't need surgery.
On top of that we've moved him downstairs so he won't have to deal with the stairs, and he's now using a walker. We weren't expecting him to be released today, so the house was not ready at all. (We are also all extremely passive aggressive, so no one will make a decisions and then when someone does, the others just complain.) This afternoon involved a lot of moving of furniture in the heat, my siblings being grumpy and passive aggressive.
Man, Sue, you guys have been through a lot.
Hope things are OK or getting better, Gud.
Things are going okay. I got an infection in my leg and I'm getting antibiotics via IV. So far the infection seems to be losing ground.
IV antibiotics are good shit, but I'm going to vote no on you getting infections that require hospitalization.
I'm voting with Dana, Gud. Infections and happiness are unmixy things.
Gud, I hope the Anti-B's work your magic.

It's been a bad week for my family elders. My dad had the gall bladder attack, my 94 year old aunt, who is receiving palliative care for cancer, fell and broke her hip, and my 100 year old aunt had a heart attack and had to have a stent inserted to open a blockage.
Personally, I'd like my dad to have a month without a trip to the ER.
Gud! I've been where you are! I got to the point of throwing up and having an off-duty nurse grab me by the arm and drag me into the ER! I hope you had better self-awareness that I did and that you don't spend three days of doctors frowning you like I did.
