Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

You know kids - they'll pick up anything and put it in their mouths.

Our wings are not tired.

I made the mistake of looking at Twitter when I woke up, and my mood plummeted.

Like -t my only exposure to Twitter today was the delightful Kat exchanges. And it is her birthday so extra shiny.

I'm feeling a lot better today than yesterday—for startes, I didn't wake up thinking it's Saturday! And I don't have a migraine!! I do have nasty fruit flies, a kitten who won't eat and whose food is attracting ants (the main food dish is in a thing of water but she makes such a mess with the syringe feeding that it gets everywhere), and no air conditioning even though it's suppoed to be 87 today...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Maria, it starts with the same letter as her name, it appears in the movie Greases uttered my Rizzo in Sandra Dee, and I honestly have no idea how to spell it. It's sort of a family tradition. I learned it from my mother and grandmother.

I grew up in a town that was mostly Italian ... I picked up quite a range of rude gestures (silent, though).

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Dear Body, developing a new and exciting quirk of having my cheeks become red and BURNING if my face gets sweaty, necessitating ice packs, hydrocortisone cream ,and possibly Benadryl is not okay.

(I'm waiting for my PCP's office to call me back so I can make an appointment, because the dermatologist is booked a month out.)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I went to pick up Mr. S at camp/daycare, and was told he was a devil child today (tearing up the room, hitting people) and not to bring him in tomorrow unless he had someone to shadow him all day. The teacher said she called Gary, and I should speak to him about it. Tomorrow is the last day of camp. I have a feeling I'm going to have to take a day off work to deal with Mr. S. Just what I needed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh damn, Sheryl. Good luck with that.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, man, Sheryl. I'm sorry.
