I'm prepping for the MTTC (The Michigan teaching permit test) and I am currently studying algebra. MY NEMESIS. Oh, did I mention I am in a program which will set me up as a teacher and train me as I teach so I can get fully certified? I'm very excited, but I have to pass this test (and I'm also taking the Language Arts and Social Studies speciality tests). I am hoping to be ready to take the test before the end of August, but we'll see, due to ALGEBRA.

I survived Algebra, but promptly forgot it all. I was zero help to the boys with theirs. DH was better because he tutored math in college, but we ended up getting one of the other coaches to help Bobby because he was a math teacher.
IOW: I feel your pain.
Go Scrappy! You can do it! Just think like Omar Khayyam. A loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and x.
Good luck, Scrappy!
I had a department retreat today, and while I still have work I should do today, I do not have the brain with which to do it. Oh well. Maybe I can do one thing?
I got as far as pre-Calculus in college Math, but promptly forgot everything higher than geometry once I was no longer being tested on it.
Go Scrappy!
I'm going to meditate and hope that helps with my urge to tell people that they have written a heartbreaking work of staggering incompetence.Shrift makes me laugh.
Aurelia, sorry about that. How frustrating.
Ooh! You should do the Dublin Literary Pub Crawl
Actors telling stories and doing scenes from Irish literary works. There is trivia and beer! I did it in May and it was so much fun!ND, we are doing this next time we go to the island!
Debet, couldn't be happier for you!

I am almost through Section A of Intro to Supply Chain Management. Supposed to be halfway through Section C by tomorrow morning. Really want to curl up and sleep, so, we'll just see how that goes, I guess.
Guess who used a Italian-American swear word today and pronounced it perfectly? Hint: It wasn't me. t /parenting fail
Um, that's a parenting WIN. So many kids pick up swear words early but use them wrong.
