Hell, I don't know. If I had wanted schooling, I'da gone to school.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I can't decide which one I need more: a nap or an alibi.

Give us the timeframe and we can let everyone know that you were innocently napping then.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Unfortunately fake alibi naps don't provide any actual rest.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If you nap with someone else observing, it should work as an alibi.

I just learned that you can buy McCafe K-cups and make McDonald's coffee in the comfort of your own home. The strangeness of our world just hits me in the face sometimes.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You could take a nap and decide after you wake up.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You would think that Chipotle, whose whole raison d'être is burritos, would be better at freaking wrapping burritos.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I'm going to meditate and hope that helps with my urge to tell people that they have written a heartbreaking work of staggering incompetence.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I'm prepping for the MTTC (The Michigan teaching permit test) and I am currently studying algebra. MY NEMESIS. Oh, did I mention I am in a program which will set me up as a teacher and train me as I teach so I can get fully certified? I'm very excited, but I have to pass this test (and I'm also taking the Language Arts and Social Studies speciality tests). I am hoping to be ready to take the test before the end of August, but we'll see, due to ALGEBRA.

Our wings are not tired.

I survived Algebra, but promptly forgot it all. I was zero help to the boys with theirs. DH was better because he tutored math in college, but we ended up getting one of the other coaches to help Bobby because he was a math teacher.

IOW: I feel your pain.

Go Scrappy! You can do it! Just think like Omar Khayyam. A loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and x.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, Scrappy!

I had a department retreat today, and while I still have work I should do today, I do not have the brain with which to do it. Oh well. Maybe I can do one thing?
