Your daughter and I will have the same car, Gud. The last time I took it in for an oil change, the mechanic said it looked good for another 11 years. Your daughter's will probably last even longer, given her mechanically savvy father.
Trump is in KC today. When I dropped my son off at work they were already starting to block off a big section of downtown. He can't leave his building during the day since all vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be disallowed in an several block area. It was supposed to be after rush hour, but it was already hard to drive around at 6:45 this morning and there were emergency vehicles, secret service, and police in body armor all over the place.
My sister (recent acquisition. You're not crazy if you don't remember me having a sister) is campaigning for a Jeep. My parents rented a jeep when they were in town for the wedding. Everyone hated it, except her, but that may have been out of adolescent orneriness as much as anything.
People who say weddings go by so fast...we had the opposite time skew. Things that happened a week ago feel like a month ago.
