Happy Birthday Zenkitty! I had to stop doing birthdays in Facebook because it was too stressful to try and get everyone! I just do tommyrots because I like finding spynx cats to give him.
So, just after giving a presentation on 23 and me saying you wouldn't find lost relatives, I just got a message from someone who I think is my half niece asking why we matched as first cousins. I said I knew but she should let me know that she really wanted to know. She is my fathers great grandchild and was born after he died, so it probably would not be a big deal for her, but probably for her grandma who is only a few years younger than my mom.

I had a seizure last night for the first time in eight years. It was in the middle of the night, so I didn't fall and end up with a concussion or a broken kneecap or anything, but I'm pretty freaked out and depressed. The idea of giving up driving again after all this time is really overwhelming, not to mention just the fear of never knowing when I might have a seizure and end up in the hospital, how I might get hurt when I fall...I'm trying not to think about too much at once. I'm going to try and get an appointment with my neurologist this week.
