Happy belated, Zen!
I had a seizure last night for the first time in eight years. It was in the middle of the night, so I didn't fall and end up with a concussion or a broken kneecap or anything, but I'm pretty freaked out and depressed. The idea of giving up driving again after all this time is really overwhelming, not to mention just the fear of never knowing when I might have a seizure and end up in the hospital, how I might get hurt when I fall...I'm trying not to think about too much at once. I'm going to try and get an appointment with my neurologist this week.

Thanks, everyone. I spent most of the day resting, which I really needed. It's amazing how much a one-minute seizure (or so I've been told, I have no memory of them) can take out of me.
