So, I went to get coffee - the communal carafe had something like a quarter of a cup left. Pour that into my cup, get new batch going. Pop over to a couple of coworkers desks to chat about a work issue while I wait for the coffee to drip. Get back to my desk and realie I do not have my coffee. Go back to the coffee maker and see that it is not on. Can't remember if I forgot to turn it on or if somebody came behind me and, seeing teh carafe was empty, turned it off. Both pretty plausible. Turned it on, wandered off again, wandered back, finally have coffee.
It should be much more delicious than in actually is after all that.
Had a nice interview at the vet office, but unfortunately the pay is very low and there are no benefits, so no kitties and puppies for me. Back to the drawing board.
Sorry to hear that, Scrappy. How is the substitute teaching going?
Nothing happening during the summer, so money is tight, but fall is just around the corner. Our COBRA coverage ends next March, and we need to figure out health insurance before then.
Good luck, Scrappy! How are you settling in otherwise?
I'm so tired that I accidentally turned on the coffee machine last night while I was prepping it for this morning. I'm going to spend a lot of quality time sleeping this weekend.
Things are going more smoothly on giant project eating my life, so yay?
Settling in very well. We love it here!
Had my mom drop me at the airport two and a half hours early because I was so done.
I hope it's a pleasant airport to be waiting around in, meara.
I hope you get plenty of rest and your life back soon, shrift
