ugh Tep That is THE SUCK. Horrible people are horrible. Also - this is what happens with 3% unemployment. I keep saying it. The lower that rate goes, the worse customer service is gonna get.

Thrive to spite them

That is horrible Steph. I hope that the parent company actually takes this seriously.

I need to call my urologist tomorrow. I think I have a UTI but I also want to get back on the low dose of antibiotics to prevent UTIs and I want to get this done this month. Next month my new employer based health insurance kicks in with it's $2000 deductible.

I'm sorry they were so horrible to you, Tep. It's also just such a complete lack of understanding and empathy about migraine pain, which makes you incapable of handling even nice, normal front office-type things.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Steph, I'm so sorry. It sucks, but I hope the shot helped.

msbelle, just... ugh. I'm sorry.

A recruiter talked me into sending a resume for a job. I guess I'll see if that leads anywhere and if it even turns out to be something I'd really be interested in. Not really expecting anything.

Also, everyone should listen to this for a joyous bit of English absurdity at its best (sj, I feel this will especially tickle you!): [link]

My family doctor's practice also has a huge gulf between healthcare professionals and front office staff, but at least the latter are merely disorganized and too often incompetent, not actually hostile to patients in pain. There is just no excuse for that, Steph. In addition to leaving the reviews I'd write a letter to the doctor(s) at the urgent care outlining how their staff fell short, and name names. If they can't treat ill and injured people with compassion, they need to GTFO and go to work for Comcast or the DMV.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Today is stupid, and I would like to cancel it. We can resume tomorrow morning.
