Yes, we could live stream for her. I'll mention that to her too.

Since I'm on Vacation and I had to get up at 5:45am anyhow, I finally installed the new speakers in my car that have been sitting around for a month. I also cleaned all my door panels since I had them all off. Fair amount of work, but all pretty easy to do. The cleaning was harder work that replacing the speakers. It sounds better now.
I replaced the factory speakers with some Sound Ordinance P-57B speakers. I don't know anything about speakers but people seemed to like them and the price was reasonable. The materials sure seems a lot better that what the factory ones are made out of.
Kate, much health~ma for your dad.
Wow, Gud, that sounds great! And, presumably, literally sounds great. Go you!
Lots of ~ma to you, Pix and ND.
Dad~ma, Kate. I hope he's feeling better soon.
General~ma to Pix and ND.
Love and ~ma to anyone else who wants or needs it.
We've got a number of people who can't make it to our wedding, so we're doing the livestream thing. It's pretty easy and you can set up the link beforehand. That reminds me that we need to get on ordering the tripod for the phone.
Most of my family has had cellulitis by this point (which is just weird). Generally quite treatable, I think, but scary. My 6 food tall 16 year old brother got to spend Christmas in the pediatric ward because of it.
The actual wedding is at 6:30 AM for beach sunrise so they don't expect big attendance there. Reception 6:30 PM. I'll be using one tablet for the photo booth setup and a laptop for a video display with pictures and a replay of the wedding at the reception. I'll have to get my son to do the live stream stuff because I don't want to deal with 3 tech things going on at once.
Back to the sewing room. I am making my dress and the pattern layout has several pieces where you cut on single thickness then flip the piece over and cut again. Uh, no. I am not cutting until all the pieces are laid out. So I had to cut out duplicate pattern pieces for about 5 pieces. Laying it out is going to be about 90% of the work. Sewing should be easy enough. Also, sizes are whack. I can wear a 16 off the rack, but in a pattern I have to use a 22. Apparently pattern makers haven't adopted the practice of making you feel good about your size. It is a wrap around design anyway so rather flexible. We'll see.
Timelies all!
Health~ma to your dad, Kate.
Lots of ~ma to you Pix and ND.
Yeah, sewing sizes are weird. I made (am making) my dress and the flower girl's dress (toddlers are so wee!). The cutting was a pain, but the fitting was the bigger issue for me. But I've done enough costumes to feel pretty confident, and I over-bought, just in case.
Just have to hem my lining and do the finish hand sewing on the other.
Much ma to Kate's dad.
I have found that the ease in commercial patterns is so great that is you go with your actual size, even if the measurements don't match, you have a pretty good chance! It is less annoying to build up the mannequin and drape, but I do it so rarely that I am not great at it.
