so it seems kind of extreme, even though I know it's not.
No, I can see how it would seem kind of extreme if you don't have your ears pierced. Honestly, it seemed kind of extreme to me, and my ears are pierced. Plus I got mine pierced at a Claire's or something back in the late 70s, where they use a piercing gun (which I guess isn't the best way to piece lobes? IDK), and I knew for my daith I had to go to a piercing shop where they use a needle, because it's such a weird part of the ear to pierce. I was kind of chicken to do it, but I had a migraine the day I decided to do it, so I was also kind of out of fucks to give because my dang head hurt.
But in the end, 9/10, would pierce again. (I'd give it a 10/10 if it made my migraines go away totally.)
I might be fostering a 4 week old pittie puppy while also dog sitting and I can't post about it on FB because my parents think I overextend myself, BUT OMG PUPPY!
But if you can't post about it in FB, then we can't see pictures of a cutiehead pittie puppy.
this is a sad but true statement, but I might post JUST IN BUFFISTAS! hold please.
posted!!!! go die from cute.
Such a cute puppy!! I want to cuddle a puppy!!
Also, good luck, Dana? Maybe you need new glasses, or a new caffeine regime ?
I was afraid I'd miss my connection in O'Hare but luckily my next flight is also delayed. Won't get to my hotel until after midnight but that'll only be 9pm west coast time I figure. And tomorrow, dancing!
Thanks for the fireworks video, Gud! I didn't get myself out yesterday evening to see them locally, so it's nice to get a virtual version.
Steph, do you know if a daith piercing works for sinus migraines? Those are the only ones I get now, thanks to the magic of quarterly botox injections.
(I'm about to google this, too, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask you.)
Thanks for the fireworks video, Gud!
That was just a little clip from the start. I wish I had the finish on video except I'm rather be experiencing rather than filming. It felt like the perfect distance, the fireworks completely filled our field of vision and we could physically feel the sound when they went off.
Took my parents to Cocina Luchadoras, which was a hit & then to the Canton waterfront park, which was short lived because it started storming. We leave tomorrow night. I guess I'm packing tomorrow & making a shortlist of things to do the first day. Can't check into our places until mid afternoon, but I've secured us a taxi from the airport (there are 7 of us, it's cheaper) & the location of $15/day luggage lockers near where we're staying. So we'll park the luggage & do a bit of jet lagged wandering. Really, I ought to find a cafe with comfy chairs, or better, a library, to park my parents if they're worn out. Overnight flight & only one of us sleeps on planes & it's not the one who is good at making plans, so.
