I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Shouldn't be dehydration or hunger. I suppose it could be the news, but every day at the same time? I've been pretty news-light lately. I can't bring myself to read much.

It's appreciated, but I'm often unable to interact at those times.

Our wings are not tired.

Sitting in Home Depot parking lot waiting for DH. Can't help but notice that people will go out in public in some amazing lack of clothes when it is this hot and humid.

"The charge is indecent exposure, Your Honor."

"Defendent, how do you plead?"

"98 degrees, 92 percent humidity, Your Honor."

"Case dismissed, remember to wear sun screen."

"Thank you, Your Honor."

Exactly

It is overcast. We've been getting rain on and off for days although it is hard to tell the difference at times. Apparently a tropical something developed today but I haven't looked it up yet.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Several times I've been asked if I'm Portuguese -- it turns out that 'Constance' is a popular name in both Portugal and Brazil!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Dana, I'm trying to not be like one of those [fill in the group here, like people who are newly Paleo] who think that their Thing is the only possible answer to [whatever problem], but have you looked into getting your daith pierced for your headaches?

(This parenthetical serves as the usual disclaimer that, yup, it could totally be a placebo effect, but even so, [1] a placebo effect is still an effect, so I don't actually care if it's placebo, because my head hurts about 90% less than it used to, and [2] no side effects like with meds, other than it's sore to sleep on that side for a couple of weeks.)

I was actually super dubious that it would work, but it is like spooky black magic.

I have been following your adventures in daith piercing. I don't even have my ears pierced, so it seems kind of extreme, even though I know it's not. But I do keep it in mind.

No, I can see how it would seem kind of extreme if you don't have your ears pierced. Honestly, it seemed kind of extreme to me, and my ears are pierced. Plus I got mine pierced at a Claire's or something back in the late 70s, where they use a piercing gun (which I guess isn't the best way to piece lobes? IDK), and I knew for my daith I had to go to a piercing shop where they use a needle, because it's such a weird part of the ear to pierce. I was kind of chicken to do it, but I had a migraine the day I decided to do it, so I was also kind of out of fucks to give because my dang head hurt.

But in the end, 9/10, would pierce again. (I'd give it a 10/10 if it made my migraines go away totally.)
