This is how tired I am. I'm out doing errands while ltc is with a sitter. I get to CVS and decide to throw away a couple beverage bottles that I left in my car. When I get back out to the car I see that the 3 day old ice tea is still in my car but the Coca Cola I bought at the drive thru a few minutes ago? Gone.
Husband didn't get the job near Chicago.
He's okay with it, because he wasn't sure he wanted it. It's just...the eternal job hunt goes on.
Ugh, Dana. Good luck to you both.
It's just...the eternal job hunt goes on.
At least you no longer have to face the idea of real winter... for now?
I'm sorry, Dana.
sj, I hope that camp lets you get some rest.
I worked from home today. Now there's a purring cat on my lap and work email is closed. It's a good combo.
Since I was bitching earlier, I feel like I need to say that of the two sitters I've hired, both have been amazing. And I feel lucky to have had them around.
Timelies all!
sj, I don't know what to tell you. Mr. S has figured out how to get out of his room, so we occasionally get a toddler wandering around while we're getting ready in the morning. (We had taken one of those plastic things you put on a doorknob to keep little ones from opening the door, and put it on the knob inside his room.)
We have those on the inside of F's doors because she figured out door knobs early, but she won't even go in her room during the day. And if she is upset enough and determined enough she can get those off. If she is mad she will find something to destroy. So really the only way I can do anything during the day like shower, is to put her in her high chair.
