Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

In other news .... Remember my crazy promotion salary issue? It has been solved. They are going to wait until my annual wage and salary increase July 1, at which point 10% will increase me to the proper point to remain salaried! So, I think I am going to take it, and let the fact that I have been doing the job of 4 people and that it might not get done as well as I do it fall by the wayside it will help the school in the long run it they can see where there is a need. And if I hate it, the title bump to Instructional Designer will be helpful in finding other work at a higher level. or, I actually have a few months to decide I am not cut out for it and go back to my current job, because they are starting the position with a temp.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Fingers crossed, Sophia.

I'm still in a bit of a funk, even though I made a really nice personal-size pizza (with vegan mozarrella) for lunch, and reread a large section of a good book. Still hating the world, and DJT in particular.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Does he or she think that A is like, the stepstool? Or is it like, the Farmer and the Ladder? I'm so confused.

I don't knoooooooow!

Ladders are useful for intensive purposes. I hear.

Argh! (PS: Sorry I didn't specify that what she should be using is "latter.")

That comment sounds pointed and annoying. I am proud of being a sturdy workhorse. It is the most realistic and best case scenario for anyone in any of the artistic pursuits who isn't independently wealthy or has so little to lose that anywhere you go is up

Nora, I agree with Sophia, but also that sounds like a shitty interaction with your father. You have an actual career, which is something to be proud of!

Yay!

Nora I was trying to say what Jesse was. Your father sounds like he is being an ass, but in reality, workhorse can be a good thing, and you can be proud of your career if you are a workhorse!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yes, I mean what Jesse and Sophia said. I'm sorry it didn't feel good to be called a workhorse, Nora. You are amazing and you write really well and are totally professional and entertaining and informative and thoughtful.

Glad that is working out, Sophia!

Does she just not enunciate her Ts? Probably a moo point.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, professional and consistent don't necessarily sound sexy, but I'd much rather have that than unreliable and occasionally flashy.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It would have been nice to know that today was a water play day at Mr. S's camp. As it turns out, he was right to insist on wearing his water shoes.(Though I doubt that's why he did that.)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ladders are useful for intensive purposes. I hear.

It is a well-known tenant of management.

I mean, at least "another thing coming" makes a sort of sense (in its utter wrongness). What in heck could he/she think the "ladder" even means?!?!
