The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

who were complaining about pre-boarders.

As in the people traveling with small children, or the people with medical issues who need extra time or help? Grrrr.

I've done that sort of pre-boarding when I have bad migraines. It's been a lifesaver.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

There have been suggestions that people who call 911 because someone with a permanent tan is making them uncomfortable should face some sort of consequences. Sounds reasonable to me - not only are they causing problems for the person, possibly putting them in actual danger, but they're taking up police time when there could be an actual emergency.

In semi-related news, someone SWATTED David Hogg's house ... he and his mother were out of town - in Washington, receiving an award.

Wtf. What does preboarding have to do with the Starbucks incident? Ugh. I am totally against people who try to board before their group but that's for gate agents to police, not random folks.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I assume the complaint is that now anyone can get early boarding, including the unwashed non-white masses.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

One of the downsides of staying at a hotel is that they have big mirrors in the bathroom so I end up catching glimpses of my naked self, where of course I can see every.damn.flaw.

I mean, I look down at my naked self and I'm OK with what I see. I look in a mirror and ugh. I can't reconcile the two reactions.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was inarticulate with rage so all I could come up wth was "you're what's wrong wth America."

That sounds plenty articulate to me.

As in the people traveling with small children, or the people with medical issues who need extra time or help? Grrrr.

Or the people sitting in first class? (See Nikole Hannah-Jones on twitter [link] )

Our wings are not tired.

Personally, I am never all that anxious to get squished into an airplane seat. I board last.

Yeah, I was assuming the people who were preboarding had the bad taste to be POC, and therefore shouldn't actually be allowed to preboard, no matter what their excuse, because of course it's an excuse and not a legitimate reason, because only white people have legitimate reasons for needing to preboard or be at Starbucks.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I mean, I look down at my naked self and I'm OK with what I see. I look in a mirror and ugh. I can't reconcile the two reactions.

Yeah, same. I think it's that I catch sight of myself in the mirror without meaning to rather than looking at myself on purpose?
