In other news, I am here to testify about the power of picking up the phone. I just got an email that the schedule of an upcoming flight had changed, but it also said if I want to make any changes, I should call. The timing only changed by a half-hour, but it was already a late flight and getting later, so I thought what the heck, let's see if I can change flights without paying the change fee. Not only did I not pay the change fee, I didn't have to pay the difference!
