I'm so sorry, Scrappy. Hope J is still able to have some happy for his birthday.
Don't know what to do with it? Put it on the dining table and we'll decide later.
Do people use their dining room table for anything other than this? Ours holds an astonishing amount of crap.

Checking in from funeral central. My dad is home from the hospital and is doing pretty well. The bruising in his face has really reduced. We're buried under sandwiches and lasagnas. We don't have any immediately family here, but my BiL's and SiL's family have really stepped up.

Husband flies out tomorrow for his interview on Thursday. Husband has done the research for the presentation he is giving. Husband is just now starting the slides, which he assures me is no big deal. I am contemplating whether I could just live in bed for the next three days.
Also, we had to change out his car battery, in the middle of the day, in 95-degree weather.
