Our wings are not tired.

Ugh, sorry, dampness is harder to fix.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

T- minus 4 hours and I have only done one of those 3 tasks.

Did a lot of other stuff that was actually toward the goal of clean and tidy house, but really now I MUST clean the fridge and mop this damn floor.

and I forgot to post.

Fridge is now half scrubbed. Several things tossed. Getting my breath and having a drink.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Back at home. Exhausted. The fucking fire alarm went off =again= last night, this time at 1 am. Of course this scared Mr. S, who spent the night in our bed, again.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Too much cleaning and organizing going on around here. By which I mean, in Natter, not at my house.

You all are inspiring me to go clean the cat boxes. Harvey and Sammie thank you.

I kinda cannot believe what finally motivated me to get a bunch of stuff done was my brother coming. He i snot gonna yell at me or shame me for my house being a mess. But I know he will lowkey be thinking I am borderline hoarder.

fixing a detached soap dish in my shower and a broken towel rack were the biggest achievements. That towel rack has been down for years. And the soap dish? I've had a plastic bag duct taped over the hole for months.

filing was the second. Man do I hate filing. Bonus that over half of the stuff in my file piles was stuff I could actually toss. Second bonus was I actually already had files made for most of the stuff.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I definitely need to have people over to get my house properly clean. I'm low-key disappointed the two people/families who might have stayed with me again won't now that I have a cat, for the cleaning purposes.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've done pretty much everything I planned for the weekend* except for cleaning the tub. That'll wait until just before I go to bed, because the cat likes to drink from that faucet, and I'm never confident I rinsed all the cleaner off well enough. After my morning shower, it'll be safe again.

*Those plans were not terribly extensive.
