Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

My house is looking so much better, but I still have more to clean and still to pack. 1 more day. gotta get it done. I think I'll head to bed now though, get a chunk done in the morning before it gets hot.

You'll be shocked to know that he assumes since he is so brilliant they won't care how he dresses.

Wow. If I do a image search for hubris I'm going to find his picture, aren't I.

Yeah, pretty much. I did find it encouraging that he posted on his FB page about his job. When he did the internet search on what kind of a place it was to work he found a lot of reviews that said it wasn't the place to work if you were white. He decided that if that was the case then he would be outta there in a week. His review - "Turns out they were just racist morons, I must say, few months in now and I'm enjoying my job immensely and my predominately black supervisors are not even remotely racist as the reviewers would have me believe."

It looks like it will work out. He is enjoying the work, and has made a number of friends. When I pick him up I see him exiting laughing and engaging with his fellow workers. He does chat support for Sprint billing so he doesn't like Sprint a whole lot since he sees the worst. But he seems to like helping he customers and being appreciated. Since he is in the chat room they have music playing which he enjoys.

He finished training early, finished his monitored probation period early. They pretty much give him unlimited overtime so his manager must like him. In his 4th month, which is like a record for him. All digits crossed.

Let myself sleep in until 10. Lovely.

Brother gets in at 8, so it's down to what can I do on the next 7 hours of cleaning / organizing that will be the best.

- mopping
- scrubbing the fridge
- clearing stuff off armchair

I think are the top of the list. Mac has been charged with his living room.

And I also need to pack.

Good luck, msbelle!

TCG slept until after nine, at which point I had to wake up ltc who wanted to stay asleep. This never happens. Meanwhile, I woke up at 8 and read for an hour in peace and quiet. Blissful. I really should clean or organize something today to keep the momentum going. We were going to garden today but it's lousy out. My joints are hurting as well.

I'll bet your joints are hurting, sj! The cleaning burst surely took a toll.

Go msbelle!

DH is doing yard work which includes planting a bunch of flowering stuff. Lots of rain in the forecast to help them settle in well. I'm sore from lots of swimming yesterday and exercise class today. I might nap!! I never nap, but I got up earlier than I should have and feel I am due some more sleep.

Nope, its the dampness. I've been making everyone else take things to me and move heavy objects. I've mostly been sitting on the couch, sorting things, and barking orders. Other than the laundry, which I got up and did myself. I hate having to do it this way but it is what it is.

Ugh, sorry, dampness is harder to fix.
