You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

87° and humid as fuck here in NYC. Of course I'm at an outdoor party.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

OMG, Sue! I am so sorry!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

99 feels like 104 - almost no humidity.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It's warm and humid here. Less hot since the thundershowers passed. I walked over to the farmer's market and bought all my shopping bag could carry. Now I just have to make sure I use it instead of letting it turn into expensive, organic, locally sourced compost.

I have a 10K spending limit on a credit card and no balance on it, but I cannot transfer a balance to it - I find that so odd.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Do people know about Pack Up + Go? [link] I'm intrigued.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I turned 5 boxes of things to be dealt with later into 3 boxes of things to be dealt with later. But it is going to take an actual tardis to find a place for all my books.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, that sounds amazing.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I feel you, sj. I culled books like crazy before the move, and I still sent nine boxes (small U-Haul moving box size) to the public and local volunteer libraries, plus gave some things away directly.

Man, I hated doing it. But I realized I'd never read a lot of that popular fiction more than once. Kept were the things I've reread and tend to turn to as comfort reading, or art and lit, a lot of books of correspondence, journals, and poetry, and things like Sagan and Cousteau. But the fiction definitely took a hit. And I've been pleasantly surprised not to miss any of it.

It stings a bit, but it's worth it, I think.
