Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Do people know about Pack Up + Go? [link] I'm intrigued.

OMG, that sounds amazing.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I feel you, sj. I culled books like crazy before the move, and I still sent nine boxes (small U-Haul moving box size) to the public and local volunteer libraries, plus gave some things away directly.

Man, I hated doing it. But I realized I'd never read a lot of that popular fiction more than once. Kept were the things I've reread and tend to turn to as comfort reading, or art and lit, a lot of books of correspondence, journals, and poetry, and things like Sagan and Cousteau. But the fiction definitely took a hit. And I've been pleasantly surprised not to miss any of it.

It stings a bit, but it's worth it, I think.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Even things I know I won't read again have to go through the "will TCG read it" test and the "do I think it is important for ltc to read this someday" test.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh! How fun.

I turned 5 boxes of things to be dealt with later into 3 boxes of things to be dealt with later. But it is going to take an actual tardis to find a place for all my books.

I so need to do this, but even more don't wanna.

Spent the day in shower and wedding planning stuff. Photo booth tutorials, recipe gathering for shower, and dress for me planning. I think I am going to make my dress. Looking at this pattern [link] with this fabric [link] - I'd like to have some sleeve, but still as airy as possible for July in Florida outside.

That's so pretty, Laura. And sounds comfy for July.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I turned 5 boxes of things to be dealt with later into 3 boxes of things to be dealt with later.

I did similar - combined 4 plastic bins of things to go through and most likely sell into 2 and then did sell a small grocery bag of video games and pokemon cards at the used game store - $13.

Also took another grocery bag of out-of-date medicines to walgreens. And a bag of bags to the Target for recycling.

Not a ton actually out of the house, but 3 bags is 3 bags.

Much more to do tomorrow. Specifically filing the two piles of paper still needing it.

The bride and her mother both approve so I will pick up the fabric tomorrow. Good to have that part off the list because mom of bride wanted to know what I was wearing first so we didn't clash horribly.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Pack Up + Go seems right up my alley. I signed up.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

That looks like a nice dress combo.

I wish Pack Up + Go worked here. Sadly, no.

I did a coat of primer on the hallway and the larger section of the great room. I also pulled up some tile in the kitchen. Turns out we won't need solvent to get down to the underlying wood floor...but so many nails. So very, very many very old nails.
