Ugh, hi folks. So have you noticed my university in the news these days? Ugh ::facepalm:: There is literally nothing acceptable about it either in terms of what happened or how it was resolved, or why it was allowed to continue for 30 fricking years!!!
My friend who is a pediatrician at CHLA is also fuming about this. But she said Laura Mosqueda, a geriatrician, is pretty excellent for the new dean.
edited to add wrong scandal. Yikes. I thought it was the Puliafito then Varma issue. This is awful.

Oh Sue, I just saw your post. I'm so incredibly sorry. I also am a person who deals with grief and stress by shifting into logistics mode, so I completely understand that. I hope you have good people around you who can be there for you through this terrible time.
