Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Depending on how strongly you feel about staying with Verizon, T-Mobile's Jump insurance does cover lost and stolen as well as broken. You might want to see if it's feasible, especially since they get way cheap with multiple lines (grumble, grumble, no special plans for single with no kids. Jerks).

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Serious thunderstorms here. Of course the heaviest rain was when I was trying to get to my car.(in a parking structure, but on the top level)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The closest thing I have to a vacation is planning to go to my Aunt's memorial service in NJ in two weeks. I have a feeling no relative is going to offer (or be able to -- full houses) to put me up, so I'd better start looking at Motel 6s.

Our wings are not tired

My business lines are all T-Mobiles. 11 lines all unlimited everything for about $300/MO. The jump plan provides AppleCare coverage for iPhones and regular phone upgrades.

Insurance is not the be all end all. My boss' kid can no longer get insurance for his phone because he has had so many claims (including one where his friend said "oh, your phone is waterproof?" and threw it into a pool)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh, hi folks. So have you noticed my university in the news these days? Ugh ::facepalm:: There is literally nothing acceptable about it either in terms of what happened or how it was resolved, or why it was allowed to continue for 30 fricking years!!!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

And we, meaning faculty and low level admin, are all fuming about it

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, Burell, yikes.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Been subbing every day which is great, but tiring. Today I had 22 2nd graders. They were adorable but needed attention EVERY SINGLE SECOND. Also, even when you have the whole group quiet, interested and all looking directly at you while you give them a short sentence of instruction (put your poem in your writing folder), at least six of them will come up to you later asking where to put their paper.

Tomorrow is kindergarten. I love kids that age, but have never taught a group of them, so it should be, um, challenging.
