Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Uggghhhhh.... Woke up anxious at 5:30, got to work before 8, feel too tired to really do anything. At least I have meetings all morning that I don't have to contribute much to? On the other hand, none of this will help me get through my to-do list.

Phew, at least I finished my upward and sideways feedback.

That's disappointing. "Video dental computer" sounded potentially -- yet entertainingly -- horrifying.

Someday the idea of dental work being done by a human might be horrifying.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Surely it would be a dental robot?

A dental computer should be an abacus made of teeth.

Our wings are not tired.

It would be nice if we developed something to make teeth less high maintenance and eliminate the need for dental robots.

Because books.

I'm resisting the urge to say it must be a day that ends in Y in this country. Not resisting it very well, but whatever.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

And in Texas. Awesome.

ION - I have pissed off a co-worker by going above them about how they are doing their job. We are significantly behind for the year and so we should be maximizing our output every single day. I heard him today pushing off some orders for today which then led to him telling some other people that he could not guarantee them space tomorrow and all of that was unnecessary bullshit. We had cancellations today so absolutely could take at least partial orders early and everyone could then get on for tomorrow that wanted to. So end result, we ARE shipping the stuff today that he had said no to.

Things got real quiet in the office. I did all my communication via text with the higher ups. But he knows and when they started emailing him to address it, I just heard him saying "damn it damn it, shit" under his breath. Not sorry.

Our wings are not tired.

Well done, msbelle.

Going to see Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf tonight with DH. Earlier in the week they had called to say that one of the actors fell ill and the replacement would still be on script tonight (opening night), and I could switch out my tickets for a later performance if I wanted. Heck no, it won't throw me off at all if dude is reading. Looking forward to it. Tomorrow going to watch wedding stuff at the theater with Tate's mom so we can see how we are supposed to dress when the kids get married. (I assure you there will be no hats and gloves in Florida in July) Then tomorrow night seeing a student production of 42nd Street at the Jupiter theater. My calendar overflowith.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Mueller is tough - he was in combat in Viet Nam; left the Marines when he discovered that he didn't like being a Marine with a desk job. He was the head of the FBI for longer than anyone except Hoover. Tough man.
