meara, I'm not sure whether that should inspire a new graphic novel or a new and very intricate bit of choreography to be called in square dancing, but you sure as shootin' ought to get more than a t-shirt out of that.
ION this is me not calling someone various nasty names after they tell me they roll their eyes at my political correctness: I quote Miss Manners then follow up with, "So do, please, roll your eyes all you wish; in addition to the exercise of some very important muscles no one wants you to lose the use of, it also very plainly advertises some things about your priorities."
People. I have done SO MUCH ADULTING in the past 24 hours. My mom arrives tomorrow, and I taught yesterday. Since then I have emptied out a big ol' shed full of crap and stacked it into the garage, cleaned the house, done many loads of laundry, stripped and remade both beds, done the dishes, cleaned out the shed, cleaned and refilled litter boxes, graded six essays, done the dishes, cleaned all the dog poop out of the yards, pulled all the crap out of the side yard and stacked for junk removal, contacted the junk company for pickup on Monday, gone grocery shopping, weed-whacked the overgrown garden bed, sorted the mail and recycled a bunch with ND and cleaned off the kitchen counters.
So. Done.
Yes, that is some serious adulting.
I pulled a muscle in my back just reading that.
No matter the reason, getting up at 6 on a Sunday kinda sucks. Off to airport.
But vacation!
Yay Tim's party!
meara, on further thought, I don't think it's the the mattress is too soft, but there's just something about it that's not quite working for me.
Wow, Pix. That is a month of adulting. My accomplishments yesterday were making a menu for T'day and doing some computer work. And the dishes. There was probably more, but inadequate for sure.
Smooth travels, sarameg! Enjoy the twins and the rest of the family and friends.
Bon voyage, sarameg!
And yes, every time I type or think that phrase, it is in Bugs Bunny's voice
.

I may be a bit sore this morning. But organized (mostly) house is so happy-making!
I have to leave in a couple of hours to go pick Mom up. Going to try to grade a few more papers (have five to finish before tomorrow). Go team adulting!
Windsparrow, why won't you do that? I definitely think you should do that!
Yeah to successful party! You get an introvert gold star. (I always feel like I deserve one when I successfully do anything like that.)
Yay vacation, sarameg!
Flight connects thru phx. People my parents' age do not board well. And there are a lot of them.
