This feels like one of those times to wish that asking for the person who made this decision and threatening to have them charged with practicing medicine without a license would work.
The PTB at Insurance companies are just straightup minions of H*ll, aren't they?
That is some bulllllshiiiiiit.
Deliberately making it too much of a pain for people to make it through the maze. Insurance companies are pure evil.
Utter bullshit. Fucking insurance companies.
Aha! Context for your post! That is crappy. Health insurance bureaucracy is the closest thing I've found to that in Kafka. Or Brazil. (The movie. Not the country.)
In unrelated news, do we have any Buffistas in Cleveland? I know Tep and Hil are in Cincinnati. Anyone closer?
flea is also in Cincy.
I don't know that we have any Clevelanders.
Deena was/is there. Been a long time since she's been around, though.
I would rather work for the Mafia than a health insurance company, as I'd probably cause direct harm to far fewer people.
Sorry, I don't know of any Clevelandistas.
We're expecting (80% chance or better) rain and thunderstorms through Sunday. I love me some rain and thunderstorms, but even I think that's edging on excessive. Mostly because I'm meeting friends for a tour of a local arboretum on Saturday, and if it happens it'll be a muddy, sodden mess. Thunderstorms are for sitting on the sofa with some tea and a cat, reading murder mysteries.
Deena is not there anymore.
I know this is petty, but because I feel like I should generally be working more (I have a lot to do!), I LOVE IT when people notice that I am here early/late. There is a strong 9-5 culture here, with more senior people generally getting in early, so I'm glad that there are people who see me here at 8:30 or 5:30 and think that means I'm diligent.
