He's on the 5 and a half year plan at this point. Which is fine since he started young (and is only 21). He will look to transfer to a UC to finish his degree.
BUT he did just (very belatedly) get his driver's license.

It's all the rage out here. Start at cheaper college, then transfer into a UC after a couple years of much lower tuition. Graduate with UC degree for resume.
He's actually thinking about going to medical school. He wants to become a Psychiatrist. I'm not sure how that's going to pan out. He's certainly smart enough, but I'm not sure he's the kind of grinder that can plow through Medical School happily. But - on the other other hand - he has really turned his academics around the last two years with increased focus and interest.

Latest update on Emmett: He got antibiotics on top of the steroids and the painkillers because the x-rays showed incipient pneumonia.
