We're still working on a plan, but so far it involves being sent to prison and becoming somebody's bitch.

My sweet but flaky neighbor left his front door open when he left for the evening. I shut it & locked up after ascertaining all electronics were still home. Belatedly worried he was dead inside & frantically texted. Nope, just being a flake.

You want me as your presumptuous neighbor who will barge into your house.

And now I'm waiting for him to get home to do a walk through, just in case.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

After getting back in the school groove over the weekend, I plan on being a bit nicer to my brain but to set goals for each evening, trying to alternate between DCC and school. Tonight was DCC and I accomplished a bunch. Tomorrow is actually a night off to see P!NK. Got the tickets last October and tomorrow I can see if I can exchange at least 2 of them for ADA seats.

DCC starts in 39 days, which means graduation is 33 days away. I need to complete my coursework within the next 28 days, though my goal is 14. Can I plan on sleeping all summer?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Tom, your pictures, especially the black and white ones, show a depth of solitude in the middle of that enormous, crowded city.

Debet, I am glad you are safe.

Laura, Wilberforce University is five miles from my alma mater, Cedarville University, which is a bit of a freak-ass church school.

Yes, I tell my neighbors I would let them know if I was moving. If someone is taking my stuff and loading it into a truck, call the cops.

Tomorrow is actually a night off to see P!NK.

Excellent use of time off!

It really was in the middle of nowhere. It was a good experience for Max. Many professors posed for pictures with him and shook our hands as parental proxies. Really glad we went.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, my boss's boss finally reached out for my feedback on her annual review. You're supposed to get feedback from direct reports, but he never did it last year. I was actually thinking about proactively sending him a note about how she's a great boss, but now I feel pressure!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Waiting for a webcast to start, and they're basically playing hold music. It's something Baroque, like Handel, but it's being performed with guitar, maybe an upright bass for the continuo, and marimba.

Okay, it just went to a regular version of Water Music, which is sadly more boring and standard.

That sounds fantastic.

That sounds way better than my company's hold music!

I think as long as you are not the neighbor who calls the cops on Airbnb people because they are black, you're good...

Our wings are not tired.

Quiet Tuesday.

I've been a bit more engaged in FB recently because I joined the NYT's Reader Center Group. There are only a few hundred in the group and the admins or members will link to an article and discuss away. A range of geographic and demographic members, although clearly left leaning for the most part. I think I got an invite because of being a subscriber originally, then it was a delay of some time before being accepted. If anyone here is interested in these types of groups check out the header here. [link] - I can always send an invite from inside the group too if you are interested. I think it is rather a new group, but it seems promising for current event type discussions.
