I splurged on dinner from the place around the corner: a tiny thing of kale salad (SO EXPENSIVE) and a chicken sausage with peppers and onions. I feel stupid about it: not only was it kind of expensive, but I have all the ingredients to have made it all myself. Bah.
I think I'm too lazy to go to my sister's house to watch the Warriors' game.
I am kitten'd out y'all. I have not watched tv in 4 days.
That's been some heavy-weight kitten duty.
Hah, msbelle let them entertain each other!
Kate that sucks. I wish all cities had amazing public transit. Sigh. My great grandmothers diaires are making me slightly bitter—in the 1940s they were taking trains between tiny Illinois towns that this day you couldn't get between at all, most likely?
meara - They are eating every 3-4 hours except overnight. I take them out one at a time to feed, then let them play. By the time they are all done and I have cleaned things up, it is either time for me to go or they are falling asleep, so I put them back in the kennels.
The two runty ones I try to feed first and they usually take a bit more ofter 10-15 minutes of playing.
At least 2 of them are self-feeding now, so that is saving a chunk of time. I can let them out, direct them to food and bottle feed the other 3.
Oh and the once a day litter and kennel clean out and then laundry.
Such a good kittie mommy. I've never done the kitty or puppy thing myself. I've always adopted adult pets. Lazy R Us.
Damn it, my city just voted down a plan to substantially improve and expand our transit system. Meanwhile traffic gets worse every day. Ugh.
I see this too often, see also votes against improving schools. The inability of the electorate to differentiate between investment and frivolous expenditure is discouraging. My state turned down rapid transit grants.

I like to think of it as rescuing the ones that get less love!
But also now I don't think I ever want to deal with kittens!
I went to the baseball game last night, it went into extra innings, so I didn't get home until midnight and still missed the end of the game and they still lost! Feh.
A has some art on display at the town library, so I'm working from home in order to be on time to the "gallery opening" and I'm in my backyard with iced coffee and my work laptop and it's just the most perfect thing ever and I think I might not go into the office ever again.
That sounds great, Jess!
We're there bobble heads, Jesse?
There were bobbleheads, but only for people who had bought certain tickets? So not for me, alas.
That sounds amazing, Jess.
