Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

That sounds great, Laura! Ooh, I should make my next viewing at a place with comfy seats and wine.

Our wings are not tired.

The comfy seats has resulted in increased attendance for me. In particular for DH since he has legroom issues.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Coworker: I found a new bug.

Me: I found that a long time ago, and we talked about it and reported it.

Coworker: Really? Did you maybe just see an existing bug? Is it actually the same thing?

Me: *detailed description of what I was doing at the time, who we discussed it with, and what the result was*

Coworker: I really don't remember seeing this.

Me: *finds link to bug, sends it*

Coworker:...

Coworker: okay, thanks.

Jesus Christ, just admit when you're wrong! You don't win a prize for having found a brand-new bug! It is actually possible for me to have discovered something independent of you!

I just reported Richard Spencer's legal fees crowdfunding campaign as inappropriate since the site claims Social Justice in their mission statement. Fingers crossed that they will boot him off the platform.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh -t, how tragic and horrible! I hope she has a good support network around her

So the company I work for isn't satisfied with being able to break into your house, now they want to break into your car too.

I can't really imagine why someone would want to let random delivery people have access to their cars or homes, but I've been regularly surprised by what folks find acceptable as long as its done in the name of capitalism and commerce.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Hugs/non-hug alternatives to everyone.

My brain is out to lunch. I have been struggling with work, school, and DCC stuff. Stupid mistakes. I'm not going to say I never make mistakes, but not these types of goofs. I'm sure this is linked to the pain and frustration with my foot, but it is utterly maddening.

I told myself I wasn't going to post another whine-fest and try to concentrate on the positive. Yesterday was my son-in-law's birthday. I gave him an A's baseball hat and The Last Jedi and told him that they are both related to the other part of his gift. He figured out that we are going to the A's @ Rockie's game on their Star Wars day in late July. I have not told him that I got some amazing seats for the game - that will be a "day of" surprise. He is SO excited.

I finally got my ergonomic evaluation at the new desk: now I can raise and lower my standing desk keyboard/monitor unit without banging the mouse tray into the desk, so that's nice. I mentioned that my chair was uncomfortable but I wasn't sure why, and Safety Guy says" Maybe it's because it's a terrible chair?" so I'm getting a new one. Supposedly it will be "petite" which I hope means I can lower the seat to where my feet are flat on the ground and have the seat back down where it is supposed to be and still be able to spin (on most chairs that I can even get low enough the "tail" of the back of the chair bangs into the wheel legs when I am otherwise comfortable (I have tried raising the seat and using a footrest but I have to jump up into the seat and I always feel like I am going to fall and hurt myself, no thank you))

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Our usual babysitter is available on Saturday night, so Gary and I can go see Infinity War then. Yay!
