I finally got my ergonomic evaluation at the new desk: now I can raise and lower my standing desk keyboard/monitor unit without banging the mouse tray into the desk, so that's nice. I mentioned that my chair was uncomfortable but I wasn't sure why, and Safety Guy says" Maybe it's because it's a terrible chair?" so I'm getting a new one. Supposedly it will be "petite" which I hope means I can lower the seat to where my feet are flat on the ground and have the seat back down where it is supposed to be and still be able to spin (on most chairs that I can even get low enough the "tail" of the back of the chair bangs into the wheel legs when I am otherwise comfortable (I have tried raising the seat and using a footrest but I have to jump up into the seat and I always feel like I am going to fall and hurt myself, no thank you))

Our usual babysitter is available on Saturday night, so Gary and I can go see Infinity War then. Yay!

He figured out that we are going to the A's @ Rockie's game on their Star Wars day in late July. I have not told him that I got some amazing seats for the game - that will be a "day of" surprise. He is SO excited.

That's awesome! It's apparently Star Wars day at the Red Sox tomorrow, and I'm going to the game, randomly. Maybe there will be a bobblehead??

Mostly for Hil -- was looking up a recipe for chocolate bundt cakes and found one that happens to be vegan, but the frosting was not. I found a recipe that calls for vegan butter. Is that just margarine or a general term, or is vegan butter a specific thing?

One of the items we sells is a square grill pan that gets abbreviated as blach blah blah sq grl pan blah and I keep reading it as squirrel girl.

I just finished the latest round in some kind of intense work that keeps flaring up. It's all going well, but it means that I push everything else aside for half a day and now feel wiped out and uninterested in getting back to my other work!

Looks like another quiet day here on the board....

Positive thing of the day. Ummm...OH...so I had Jury Duty that I had postponed to May 8th, figuring I'd be mobile and driving by then. In Denver County you request postponements through email. I wrote back to the person who granted the extension, explained the current situation and they are allowing me to push it out another 3 months. Yay!

Bonus, CJ is fetching us some BBQ!
