You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't feel like a turban would be flattering on me, but I am ready for a caftan.

Oh! At my uncle's we watched some old home movies, and my grandmother in Hawaii in the 50s, wearing a muu muu? Perfection.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

we celebrated the job getting with fast food last night, nothing fancy.

I think I might have to avoid a lot of social media until I see Infinity War. I've heard of two people getting some spoilers without trying. UGH.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I can only be here until Saturday afternoon, when we see Infinity War. I don't trust anywhere else to not spoil me.

I'd be willing to try a turban. I could also go with caftan, as long as there are pockets

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

None of my caftans have pockets, but I love them anyway. I'm usually carrying duffel bag of some sort when I'm in a caftan, come to think of it. Huh.

Turbans might be nice for those days when I really should wash my hair but getting out of bed is too hard.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It's been out over here since Wednesday, which was also a public holiday. Alas, I spent the Wednesday stricken with Dreaded Lurgi. I have been attempting to explain to Biyi why Ryan and I should see it on the weekend before we are taken down by unwanted spoilers.

I'm just glad I'm visibly sick, so maybe people will feel bad for me. I hate feeling worse than I seem on the outside.

I'm in Michigan and I'm very groggy. I'm here for my youngest niece's birthday this weekend, and to watch all three of them in a dance recital next weekend. I've demanded that someone go with me to Infinity War while I'm here, but we haven't bought tickets yet.

I suspect I will be staying off social media by watching a lot of hockey and reading books until we go.

I've also got to get off the internet because I'm not seeing Infinity War until Sunday night!

Librarian Warlord

The trade war has hit my library: we can't get the stapler cartridges we need because of the steel tariffs. Distributors just aren't bothering. People who are not librarians may not realize just how much patrons complain about staplers, but OH MY GOD do they complain.

Also, my house has drywall up, and now I just want them to finish, finish, finish. Someone please distract my husband while I pick out colors for the walls. (My mother once asked what his favorite color was, because she was knitting a sweater. I replied, "Clown." He likes things . . . bright.) We hope we can move into one and a half or two floors in June.
