I find it hard to seriously complain about a couple 14 hour days when one of the overnight staff pulled two 16 hour shifts, helping me cover for staff who needed time off. Admitting to feeling tired and wanting a nap, I am not ashamed of.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
I have so much random knowledge from my various past jobs. For example, I just heard a story on the radio where Elizabeth Warren says the government should fund "the opioid epidemic" like the government funded HIV/AIDS in the 90s. I thought, "they didn't do shit until the Ryan White CARE Act, did they?" and the next sentence was that it should be modeled on the Ryan White CARE Act. So there you go.
