I am amazed at some people who can lie so evenly. I'm no good at all at that.
I have a great opportunity to buckle down and get some stuff done this afternoon, but I'm not sure I have the capacity to do much more than stare into space. It's a conundrum!
It always amazes me how there are people who figure if it's in the refrigerator, it's up for grabs. The place where I used to work, my food was disappearing ... wasn't sure who until one day I took lunch a little early and another woman was going through the refrigerator and saying, "oh, this looks good" and pulling something out.
But taking it and throwing it away? that's just mean.

Tonight we go to my MIL's house for the first Seder.
We generally treat coffee creamer and condiments as open for general use at my office, but other than that if it's in the fridge it belongs to someone specific. Community treats get put out on the kitchen table.
How bizarre! I can imagine an explanation - like if she for some reason thought it was her shrimp fried rice from last week - but that she didn't offer any and shows no remorse is disturbing.
Realized this morning that I somehow was out of matzo meal, so ran to the store. They were actually out of kosher-for-Passover matzo meal, of course, but there were still some jars of Manischewitz matzo ball soup available, so Seder is saved.
