I had a dream that I was in a play with Oscar Isaac. That's about all I remember, but surely that's important enough to share.

Definitely.
Wow, we lucked out with the warm sunny weather yesterday for moving. It's supposed to be cool and rainy for the next several days.
...also, let me tell you how happy I am to have a washer and dryer again, and how much I love having it on the same level as everything else.
Did you get a nice bath, Strix?
Ugh, Gud. No fun.
I'm sorry, Bev. My sister has the flashy lights. Really hard to ignore floaty, blurry, or flashing stuff in front of you.
No! ::sad face::
I need to buy a stopper for the tub today.
...and an overflow cover and a bath pillow.
(And wine. Need proper accoutrements for the inaugural bath.)
bleah, still sick. And it's raining out. But I levered myself out of bed and have had tea and toast. Now I just have to clean the house, go to the bank, call a painter for a quote, do laundry, call a tax preparer, and do laundry. Not bad for a sick day.
Oh, if anyone needs a pick-me-up, this thread by Chuck Wendig might make your day. He's a pretty funny guy: [link]

BUT, I don't want to do them.
Do you grasp my quandry?
Do you grasp my quandry?
EVERY DAY
Do you grasp my quandry?
Yes. The scary part is, I've accomplished a lot of things at the office today that I've been -- delaying more than not-wanting-to -- for some time.
None of those things have anything to do with work. Unless you count what I'm doing about my retirement account.
So, I could not get out of bed this morning because the room was spinning too much so I am taking a sick day. The cats are pretty pleased with this arrangement.
