I'm very sorry if she tipped off anyone about your cunningly concealed herd of cows.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, there will be...pix. Heh.

One new neighbor has an old beagle and a younger beagle mix. Loxie is so excited! Our backyard is huge! I can't wait to have a housewarming shindig!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Yay Strix!

I'm too the point where I have a distance vision prescription, a second for computer and a third for reading.

I kind of hate my progressive lenses. I never really adjusted to them, and when I use the reading part of the lens, I still have to hold things at arm's length.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

SO thankful that my vision is only messed up at a distance. Everything's still clear out to about 4 feet, which covers work, reading, drawing, and tooling around on the internet at home.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yes please to pictures. Y'all's homes make me happy, expressions as they are of yourselves.

I had my eye exam...a year and a half ago, which was when the doc found the synechia. Treating that meant no new prescription at the time, and I've not been back. But it's getting pretty ridiculous how not-good my vision is. The PVDs are still present, giant floaty spidery veily things. The surgeon said scars from attempts to remove them were much more visible than the PVDs themselves. It might be worth it though, because at least the scars would be stationary and I could avoid them, unlike the giant space alien floaters, which while mostly transparent and sometimes entertaining, are always in motion.

Thrive to spite them

Steph thanks for sharing that abkut you and Tim . It's nice to know I am not the only one.

Sorry your dad was being such a parent.

I need bifocals of some kind soon. I need prims to correct some kind of wonkiness with my vision and last time they told me I needed to wait until it was a bit worse before I got bifocals because of the prisms. A few months ago I started wearing my old glasses that have prescriptions that are really out of dye because I can see mid and close range better.

The monitors on the registers at work are really bad and it's hard to read tags. Our current registers are 35 years old, they run DOS. The monitors are black nd white, dim and have burned in images thst make it hard to read. We are finally getting the new ones on the 27th. Brand new monitors and tocuh screen. There is much rejoicing st work over this.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, dear, Bev. That sounds difficult to deal with and what a choice for treatment! I wish you the best.

Incidentally, autocorrect wants to call you Nevada. It'll learn.

I like my progressives although I still have the habit of just taking off whatever glasses I am wearing and peering at things an inch or two from my nose which is not super effective. Also love my computer distance glasses.

Coding and Sleeping

Crap. I'm now involved in corporate politics, something I've been very good at avoiding. Can't say anything about it unfortunately.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I had a dream that I was in a play with Oscar Isaac. That's about all I remember, but surely that's important enough to share.
