...you ain't wrong.
I plead fiscal responsibility and bullheadedness.
The high school in town was going to walk out but school was cancelled today because of icy road conditons for about 1/3 of the bus routes.
The college had a walk out. I think the high school one had been rescheduled. In a local FB groups there were adults who wanted to go nd show their support bit were asked to not show up at my of the public schools. I don't know if the middle or elementary school students were going to do anything.
Last Sunday I had dinner meat my bf's brother's house and in their doing room is a gun case and very pro 2 Amendment signs. It's very hunting themed in there with taxidermy animals and hunting bows on the walls. I didn't anything.
My bf has guns and like them. We have had several intense discussions about guns and he does support gun safety laws to a degree but he also want a a concealed permit.
It's one of the issues where we have different views that I wonder if it will be a deal breaker at some point.
Timelies all!
Sigh...once again, I am without pie on Pi Day.
I plan to go claim my $3.14 pizza from Uncle Maddio's, then once I am sufficiently stuffed to resist buying concession stand food, go to see A Wrinkle in Time.
::shoves pie through series of tubes::
I had a quick burger so I could take meds without puking. But now I kinda want pie.
I forgot about Pi Day. But I did make chicken pot pie for dinner, so that counts, right?
Strix, you HAVE been working your ass off. Chilling out is good.

Tim and I don't agree on gun control. He's not a gun nut, but he stubbornly sticks to the position of "if guns are criminalized, only criminals will have guns." Lately we've been able to discuss it more productively than me screeching in frustration and him refusing to say anything, which is how gun control "discussions" usually go in our house.
My brother reportedly owns an AR-15. He's a cop, btw, and does take gun safety seriously, but still. What is he expecting, zombie hordes to attack in suburban NJ?
(I mean, if there was general insurrection, he's got the police department toys to rely on, like armored vehicles and body armor and so on. Plus, those rifles are darn expensive.)
