Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Apparently they couldn't call the PA election last night because of absentee votes that had to be counted in a deeply red county, then they ended up being for Lamb by 200 votes.

Wow!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Has anyone ever had a radial nerve injury? I'm pretty sure mine is fubared...I am a side sleeper, and with this move, I'm really noticing how messed up it is beyond just soreness. I'd thought I was getting arthritis in my right hand, but now I wonder. And with the painting and scrubbing and hauling involved in the move, I've had several very painful cramps in that arm lasting over 10 minutes, and lots of twitching muscles when at rest. I think I've compressed the nerve...but our deductible is so high and we don't have co-pays until we're hit $5K OOP.

Does stretching help? I'm trying not to side sleep, but it's pretty hard not to...when I'm asleep, I naturally go into that position.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If we can have a fictional character for Secretary of State, I'll take Chrisjen Avasarala.

Oh hell yes.

Our wings are not tired.

So can the students that can't walk out on classes today because of a snow day walk out on the make up day?

I like the way you think, Laura.

Day 2 of home sick. Already bored, although I binged some Jane the Virgin and watched S02ep01 of Jessica Jones.

It's the weirdest cold: I don't have much nasal congestion, but I have a headache and this horrible painful cough. So annoying.

I'm really going to set up the new laptop to dial into the work network, though. Really. After I have some more tea and some cinnamon toast.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The issue with a recount in PA, as I understand it, it that there are not paper receipts for the electronic votes.

Many TX schools are on Spring Break and so are missing the walk out. Mac would not have been an involved student anyway and this being TX, I imagine the whole thing could have been a shitshow.

Yeah, that's the cold that's going around. Totally not how I'm used to being sick. I spend a couple of days home in bed and another week or so dragging around not feeling great but not that bad but it did finally go away, except for the cough which is at least not so painful.

Tea and cinnamon toast sounds like an excellent idea.

I am all about pie today. Apple pie with cheddar for breakfast, I brought in mini pies for my coworkers, I have two savory hand pies, a sweet potato shepherd's pie, a piroshki, and a chicken pot pie for all my meal and snacking needs. Mmm pie. And I have on my Pi shirt from ThinkGeek which no one has noticed unless I pointed it out.

Herding cats for fun

Radial nerve compression follows over use. Apparently lots of women have to adjust their sleep position because so many of us curl our hands into fists and then tuck them under our chins.

Perhaps you will feel better after accomplishing the move. In the meantime, stretching and resting will be helpful. Try hugging a pillow when you side sleep. Wave your arms and wiggle your fingers, rotate your shoulders and turn your head from side to side to get loosened up.

Hope the techniques from the hand therapist help out.
