And Stephen Hawking has died. Now he's free to wander the cosmos.

I have finished my last review and now I'm going to beer myself.

JZ says Dems in the lead by about 800 votes.

Fucking hell, that's a nail biter.

Edit: Shit, not Stephen Hawking!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I just found out about Hawking. He had an amazing long life considering but I still am sad to lose him.

PA race is a nailbiter, for sure.

Sorry to hear about that. 55 years when doctors gave you 2 isn't bad, though, and he definitely made the most of them.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

To quote the NYTimes: "Conor Lamb leads by 0.3 percentage points, or 579 votes, over Rick Saccone with 100 percent of precincts fully reporting."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There's no automatic recount triggered but it can be requested in circumstances like this so it will go to a recount. But the Dems had a huge turnout, and excellent Union support for Lamb.

So I'm ready for a tidal wave in November. Let's get there.

Our wings are not tired.

Have they called the PA special election yet? I'm afraid to look.

NBC called it for Lamb. I think I awoke to Trump screaming.

Our wings are not tired.

It will be nice to read the Stephan Hawking obits today and be reminded of the forces for good.

Apparently they couldn't call the PA election last night because of absentee votes that had to be counted in a deeply red county, then they ended up being for Lamb by 200 votes. Not enough outstanding now to swing it. Like Moore they probably will never admit defeat and will want a recount. Cheers!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's still officially too close to call, I guess? I'm afraid to get excited.

Our wings are not tired.

They are calling it as "apparent", but I guess until they do every last absentee and military ballot they won't make it official. Seems that the numbers aren't possible though. As much as I am delighted that the Dems picked up the seat, I have to admit to being even more delighted that the GOP put so many resources into the loss. Knowing that Trump is pissed off is a simple pleasure, while awaiting him being hauled off to the pokey.
