Yikes, sarameg! Wow.
I want to watch baby Sean Bean now. Don't tell me if he dies.
I also liked Yael on Crazy Ex Girlfriend. Sort of almost but not really a crossover for the non superpower CW shows!
I know this is from yesterday, but I think maybe moist and damp and soggy are not so much on a continuum of wetness as qualitatively different from one another.
I am thinking about going to Jack in the Box for one of their Munchie Meals. I am pretty sure this is a terrible idea, but I really want to have tried the Stacked Grilled Cheese Burger and I have to stay awake until midnight tonight (well, I have to be awake at midnight, but I have no faith in my ability to actually wake up if I go to sleep before) so now is my chance.
-t, why do you have to be awake at midnight?
I decided to make pumpkin bread & muffins, and threw in some extra crystallized ginger, hope it comes out well. Now my kitchen is a complete mess and instead of cleaning, I'm watching the Great Irish Bake Off.
GIBO has some interesting differences than GBBO. For one thing, they appear to do only two challenges per weekend instead of three. Also, during the technical challenge, the contestants can talk to one another! So right now they're all consulting on how to roll the stollen up! It's amazing!
That said, it's still not the same without Mel & Sue. But worth checking out if you're desperate for nice & supportive cooking competitions.
I've wondered if the Irish Bake Off was a good alterntive.
Weather radar is fun. It's like watching a river of snow and ick flowing past my portion of the valley but not making a mess on me.
Oh, nom on the crystallized ginger! That sounds wonderful.
Oregon state parks open up for reservations during next year's eclipse at 12:01 and I have been deputized to get a couple of camp sites by my family. Reminds me of camping out for concert tickets back in the day.
And I have made the trek to Jack in the Box.
Well, my hair is darker than I expected. It's got merlot to dark violet highlights. I am getting it cut tomorrow, since my last cut was last December.
I'll have to see after the cut and a couple of shampoos, but I'm leaning towards adding some brighter purple streaks to it.
I've had dark red, but this is the darkest my hair's been in over 20 years.

Oh, that's brilliant! Where in Oregon?
Sounds pretty, Strix, even if it wasn't what you had in mind.
I'm looking at Detroit Lake and Cove Palisades. They're both in the path of totality - Detroit Lake is west of Mt. Jefferson nestled in that range and Cove Palisades is near Madras, which is supposed to have a high probability of clear skies on the day.
The Stacked Grilled Cheese Burger, by the way, is pretty good if you like that sort of thing, but not so amazing that I will need to seek it out again, probably.
