In this area there is only one Dwyane Wade and people here are delighted he is back. It is just icing on top of great basketball that he speaks up on political issues.
So are the NE Buffistas snow bunnies this morning? I haven't looked at any news so I don't know if you got flurries or a couple feet of white stuff.
We got nothing in Rochester.
Nothing but slush here.
It took Ethan and I (and both kids) over an hour to shovel the sidewalk and driveway this morning. If it had been just a little colder we would have gotten the full 15" as forecast, but it was so heavy and wet it was just about 8" of dense heavy slush.
Yuck, slush is not the stuff those pretty postcards are made of. My memories of stepping into slush and wet feet are vivid even after 38 years of Florida living.
We got several inches of snow on top of an inch of slush.
And my feet are wet.
I still have a Dwayne Wade/Dwayne Wayne issue. It is akin to the Marni Noxon/Marti Nixon confusion

I went to the gym before work and kinda forgot that now I'm supposed to start at 7 not 8. Oops. Oh well, got my mile in with a variety of inclines and 8 pounds of backpack and was only half an hour late, so that's pretty much a win.
Sorry slushy folks, that does not sound pleasant.
While I was away, my wife said the garage door opener broke. I finally got a chance to look at it and it looks like an easy-peasy fix. Just need to splice in some fresh wire to one of the sensors.
